Description:
New wine bar opened on April 25th 2008, the year of presentation of the great 2004 vintage of Barolo (after one year we can say it was of good omen). The osteria offers a typical cuisine of the Langhe with a careful choice of locally grown products.
The osteria is arranged on two floors: on the ground-floor a perfect space for lunches and a quiet bower for a total of 40 seats. In the basement the cellar can host up to 60 seats. The osteria houses works of art by local and international artists that create a nice ambience.

Open for lunch and dinner. At lunch time for a quick bite on the way back from the vineyards or for a business lunch. In the evening for a candle-light dinner with your partner, with your friends, singing songs over a bottle of Barolo, or for a business dinner, Patrizia in the hall and Emanuele in the kitchen with their crew will prepare traditional dishes accompanied by a lovely music selected by Emanuele, a great music lover.

Patrizia ed Emanuele, born and raised in Torino, after a long experience in the restoration business landed in Barolo where they could find the quality of life they were seeking and the perfect place where to turn their work into pleasure. Surrounded by the colours and the heady scents of the hills of Barolo they have carved their own niche.

Their passionate cookery is based on the traditions of the Langhe evolved towards a more up-top-date life-style offers specialities such as:
veal with tuna-sauce, “fassona” raw-meat tartare, tongue with “bagnet verd” (traditional green sauce), “bagna cauda” with seasonal vegetables, stuffed peppers, jerusalem artichokes flan with anchovies sauce, eggplants “parmigiana” with raschera dop cheese, cherry tomatoes with “bagnet verd”, risotto with barolo, gnocchi with raschera d’alpeggio dop, “plin” ravioli butter and sage or meat reduction, “tagliolini” with sausage ragout, barolo braised veal, rabbit with herbs, stewed tripes, “finanziera”, “bollito misto”, selection of local cured meats and cheeses (served with honey and “cugnà” sweet-sour sauce).

Everything is home made, including desserts and friandises. Emanuele’s desserts include the Langhe hazelnuts pie with Moscato Zabaione, nougat or honey semifreddo, pears and chocolate pie, “bunet” pudding, panna cotta, “Martin” pears baked with Barolo (when in season).

The wide choice of wines ranges from local Piedmontese producers to Italian and French labels, including “bubbles”, and a good selection “by the glass”.
