Leave Barolo from Piazza Cabutto on the Via Vittorio Veneto, continue along the unsurfaced road that flanks the hill as far as Cascina Foglio, where you take the asphalt road to Novello. From here, take the provincial road down to the crossroads on the plateau, taking the unsurfaced road to Borgata Pasinotti. Keeping to the path over the large rocks, you arrive at Borgata Fornaci, then a stretch of the provincial road brings you into Monchiero.
