Leave Barolo from Piazza Cabutto following a section of Via Roma until you meet the path that cuts through the vineyards at Localitą Paiagallo. When you reach the provincial road, take it to Novello, then descend into the area of Santa Lucia and continue to Borgata La Madonnina. There, take the path for the hamlet of Frazione Ciocchini, and press on for Bergera and then for Vergne. Leaving behind the houses of the Borgata, walk up to the Cascina Bergesia, then stroll through fields, vineyards, and a patch of woods to Bricco del Dente and finally to La Morra.
